Archangel
I found these pouches while digging around on the internet. Would they be acceptable once dyed or painted? The link is attached below. Thanks! http://www.northridgeinc.com/store/index.cfm/c52/i630
iron ram
I would say yes but I think you will have to cut off the small pouch and move it a little
iconoclasta_88
Hey Sheldon, how are you? Yes, just as Ed said. They would be acceptable once you reposition the small pouch. No big issue, just need thread and needle. And then dye it dark green or black. Saludos.
Archangel
fabulous!!! I suppose I can relocate the small pouch with no problem. I am assuming that you mean it must be lowered a bit to match up with the bottom of the larger pouches. I'm good Juan! Really stoked to get my armor finished and weathered so I can submit for membership. I just got my pauldron ordered from Trooper 1 so this is moving in the right direction. inglorious trooper
not really lowered, moved over more to the last pouch so it doesnt hang out on its own so much! does that make sense?
Archangel
Ya that makes sense. Just tighten it up so it sits closer to the outside pouch. I can do that! Gonna order them tomorrow. Need two for the belt and then the shoulder pouches. So I only have to tighten up just the one pouch.

Archangel
That works. I have a lot of work ahead of me just putting the armor together. No rush on the pouches and saving myself time and extra work seems like a pretty grand idea.
Archangel
Just ordered pouches from IMA's they come in a set. I noticed that the pouches for the belt are of a different design than what is offered in the set from IMA will the three pouch from IMA be acceptable and approvable? The link for the pouches is: http://www.ima-usa.com/german-mp-40-magazine-pouch-set-wwii-green.html

Archangel
I think I will be painting it this weekend. Krylon satin black! After searching for quite a while I was happy to find the pouch that did not need to be altered in any way. makes thing a lot easier.
