  1. Taking into account that Halloween is just around the corner I thought we should post pictures of our armor to share our hard work and accomplishment so far this year on one of the nights that our expertise really shines. So this thread is simple just post a picture of your Halloween costume/sandtrooper armor and name a detail about it that you are particularly proud, or that you just recently completed this year. Have fun and don't forget to post. Happy Halloween everyone, don't let the trooshti bite.
  2. Hi I am new to the world of trooping and the idea sounds fun and i would like to get started but the only issue is that i am not sure what type of armor i should get. I have narrowed it down to what sounds like the two best ones, which are AuthenticProps and TrooperMaster. I heard AuthenticProps is pretty detailed, but something looks wrong with the right eyelet, and apparently it is a bit smaller then the actual movie armor from what i have read. I have also heard that TrooperMaster armor is like the Cadillac of stormtrooper armors and i haven't really heard a negative thing about it only that it is really good and detailed as well as being a great set if you can get your hands on one. Right now it looks like i want to get TrooperMaster armor, but i need help to find out which is the best. WHEN ANSWERING THIS PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS PERTAINING TO THE QUESTION AND THEN YOU RECOMMENDATION. THANK YOU. =)
  3. Gents! I have communicated with a few of you over the past few days with questions about the various kits and general advice for getting started. First, I just want to say thanks for all the help so far. Second, I have been in touch with many of the providers and between you guys and input from the manufactures I have narrowed it down to a three kits and would like input on the three before I shell out the $$$ and hopefully have a box waiting for me when I get home. The three kits I have decided on are RS Props, AP, and MTK. I know that RS is arguably the most accurate on the market now and the price tag does not bother me. As for AP and MTK they are comparable in price but to my rookie eyes they don’t look much different from the RS kit. Another thing I am worried about is how they are going to fit a 6' (1.83m) 210 lb. (95 kilo) man. I would like to work up through the ranks 501st to MEPD Ofc to SWAT and if I can do it all with the same kit that would be preferred. Also, take note that this is my first build so I need to consider the difficulty of assembly. Any thoughts? Cheers Chris
