TD-1536

I just heard about this yesterday and it really saddens me. He was part of command team going back as far as 2006 up until 2008 I believe, I even trooped with him twice in the DragonCon Parade, he was always a very proud and supportive TD. I recall he once told me that after getting one of the first back pack kits I offered at the time, Steve Sansweet remarked at how accurate it was and said he did a great job of making it really authentic. Anyone know what happened to him? Natural causes, fowl play? Rest in Peace, brother.

We're throwing a big Halloween party this year, so I get to stay home and change costumes, etc. I plan to wear one of my Clone sets of armor (the misses asked for Comm. Gree), then I'll probably slip into my Alien/Nostromo crew outfit for the remainder of the night. As for Halloween night, not sure yet.

I saw Metallica once, when they toured for the Black album in 1991. Saw Megadeth and Anthrax twice, and Slayer once in 1992. That said, you couldn't pay me to go to a metal concert these days. After playing death metal for a number of years and doing it in a professional capacity, I'm officially burnt out.

He's doing good we recently called in an airstrike near our position.

So last year I decided to not renew the hosting account for 'www.tk1536.com' and instead just renew the domain name and park the site's content here. What I didn't find out after the fact was that the **** web host had restrictions in place that prevented URL forwarding unless you had a hosting account with them. Anyway, I decided to wait a year until it expired, so I could re-register it elsewhere. So it expired on 4/26 - yesterday, and I was going to register it today elsewhere. No joy! Apparently, I guess the web traffic was substantial enough that some crap company snatched it up in less than a few hours! Oh well...

Really cool!! That and the new 'bookmark' drop-down menu is exactly what I was envisioning back in 2008, but I don't think the technology existed. I'm happy to finally see it come to fruition.

Last time I was at the range (indoor), a guy came in with a full-auto, belt-fed MG-34, complete with tripod. He set it up and everyone just stood back curiously watching. When he went full auto, it was like a joy-gasm. His gun looked a bit odd though, I think his lower receiver was a newer reproduction or something.

Yeah, I will often times stow my wallet and keys in the 'tool box' on the back pack. I also try to have access to some cash or room key in my shoulder pouch.

I paid over $100 for a Marmit back in 2005 and replaced the figure with a more articulate Dragon figure, and I really feel by doing the modification, it made for an incredible action figure. By using a Dragon figure, you can choose different heads for the 'helmet-off' look. The backpack was not as accurate as the Sideshow, but it was definitely top-notch.
