  2. Dustin Wyer TD 47007 https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=29729 Requesting Sandtrooper Access. Thanks!
  3. Thanks, seemed easier to paint everything together to get an overall view instead of one piece at a time. The armor is from Walt. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  4. Got the armor assembled and have started the weathering. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  5. My WTF armor will be arriving Thursday! Pretty excited to get the construction started, but have a few questions regarding painting. 1) Besides the weathering, do people paint their white armor white or just leave it as it comes and weather? 2) Best way to get the look of the paint globs/runs on the helmet?
  6. Here's mine. I got it from Amazon, about $150. Took some modifications to get the arms bent, but a little bit of cutting, fiberglass resin and 2 hinges, he turned out pretty good. Arms are adjustable so I can remove the armor. Also the pauldron is just being stored on my TK while I wait for new armor for my TD. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00E5O67JA/ref=oh_aui_i_sh_in_o0_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  7. Well that was my 5th post and it is working. Thanks for clearing that up.
  8. Was wondering what the rules/limits were for new members looking to respond to a for sale thread. I am not a 501 member, only been apart of the Astromechs, but trying to piece my armor together. I know some forums require X number of posts before you can respond, others get instant access, just curious what it is here. Thanks!
  9. Awesome, thank you for clearing that up.
  10. So it's a bit premature for me right now, but was wondering where I would go to submit for TD approval. Looking at FISD that appears to handle the approvals of TK's, and MEPD handles the PO and SWAT levels. Did I miss something or am I looking in the wrong spots? Thanks
  11. Thanks! I have actually put together 2 sets already. I put together a TK for a mannequin in my office and a Fem TK Shadowtrooper for my wife. I think the weathering of the TD will be my biggest challenge, or maybe trimming the armor to fit me. Much much cheaper than my R2.
  12. Hey Everyone! First off thank you for the add to the group. I am currently an active member with the Astromechs and have been trooping with my local Kansas 501 since last year with my R2. Since joining the group I have been tossing the idea around of completing a set of armor to be official. Last week I finally pulled the trigger on a set of WTF TK armor with the intention of making it dirty. Since I have 6-8 weeks before my armor arrives, I thought I would get started by working on printing/ordering a DLT-19 and building/ordering a field pack. Been researching both since I joined the page, like the Astromech's there is a ton of information to go through. Once again thanks for the add and thanks in advance for all my questions. Dustin
