  1. Yes...let me get a quote on the wood and I’ll let you know price.
  2. It holds mine, and it’s not exactly light...do you have the Krystal patrol pack?
  3. It’s something I threw together... I also make helmet stands too... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Don’t know if this has been posted before...anyway, I’m doing my pre-troop maintenance check (it’s a Navy 3M thing) and I discover these on my return edge of my chest plate! Using my Leather hole punch I put a small hole at the end of the tear to keep it from spreading... Then I sanded on the inside and cut an extra piece of ABS... Cut and superglue in place... Using the ABS Paste I made from my left over trimmings, I pack it around the reinforcement and fill the holes and tear seam on the visible part of the plate... Once that dries I’ll hit the visible part with some fine grit sandpaper and call it a day! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Again to everyone...thank you! Here is how my Deployment card turned out! Big thank you to Sandman Tigui! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Ok...got to troop this last weekend at Anime Conji 2019. Did two days 6+ hours each day and I can say it was pretty awesome! I feel...complete now LOL Final thoughts...other than replacing the bottles with more screen accurate ones, the 3D printed radar dish with an actual Tupperware lid, repainting the gloss grey RAL 7031 with a flat RAL 7031 (sourced from www.lvppaints.com), and adding switches from Sonix World I would have to say I am very impressed with Crook Knights kit, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to any other fellow MEPD trooper looking to add the most essential of gear...The Backpack! On a side note I’ve trimmed/thinned down my sniper plate to be more screen accurate and as soon as I weather my silicon hand plates on my rubber gloves I’ll be submitting for “Deployment”! TD-15169 standing by for further instructions! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Patrol #33 Anime Conji 2019 (Day 2) Test trooped with my pack and it was awesome! Was able to go 6+ hours each day with no issues! I feel a request for Sandtrooper deployment thread coming soon?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Patrol #32 Anime Conji 2019 (Day 1) Best part of the day was meeting the daughter of TrooperBay owner! Awesome photoshop from a fellow MEPD trooper, Rob Macaulay! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. How’s this? Acrylics, dry brush technique... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Ok...was thinking of going over the canvas with an acrylic wash to dirty them up.
  16. Ok...mounted completed radio to pack, and after adding some tape to “hold it together” here it is! Crook Knight Pack #3 Really had fun with the build, and Shawn was super easy to deal with! Also shout out to Tony for the radio parts...Grazie! If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Got back from Phoenix Fan Fusion... So some of this might be a repost (my apologies)... Radio: I received most of my internals for the radio...MP3 board, 4ohm speaker... Mounted speakers using wire and cut a Pringle’s can for the tube... A fellow Chief (ETC Type) soldered my slide switch and my speaker wire for me... Glued switch in place and packed the hole with ABS paste... Using spray adhesive and rivets for the feet I wrapped it with the provided pleather... I started on the 8-pin din side and screwed it down so I could stretch the pleather tightly around and riveted the feet in place... After that, I mounted the carry strap mounts and antenna... I then weathered it using acrylic... Twisted a length of wire using a drill, and...Tada!! I loaded up 8hrs of TD Chatter, which should get me through most events! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
