  1. Thank you very much Urs, means a lot to me comming from you. I have alredy lowerde the tape you mentioned, the paintruns, well I used liquid latex. Might try somthing diverent in the future. For now I'm happy. Thank you, just some dirt pigments. I still need to figure out were to attach the shoulder pouch on the strap. Than I'll apply for PO.
  2. Finally got the tuperware lid in the mail. Attached it and weathered the pack.
  3. Handy idea with the strap handles, I just glued mine to the radio. I think your way is better.
  4. Thanks, I have enought stuff to finish so I'm happy when the pack if ready. Do you mean the space between the controllpanel and the endcap? I have reduced that, it looks better now. I haven noticed that bwfore you mentioned it. Thanks
  5. I changed the mounting of the mortar tube. Now I use the upper screw of the frame, like in the movie. Tried to take the photo at the same angel as seen on the screen cap. Looks much better. So the only thing missing is the tuperware lid.
  6. Thanks Urs, I really appreciate that. Don't get me wrong, the Pack is for passing PO level, but I want to build it after SWAT standarts. So it is suposse to be the the first Version of Rolfs breakdown. I'm still not sure if I want to go for SWAT on some day but if I choose a trooper with fieldback, it will be this one. So I want to finish this build on the level I started. When I did my weathering, I looked on some screen caps and liked the weathering on the chest of the cantina captain. That why it looks a bit like the cantina captain.... To do list: shorten the mortar tube to the lengh of the plunger cap change the angel of the mortar tube remove the lad pipe mount tuperware lid install the shoulder pouch Am I missing something?
  7. The finish is near now, I really like your siphon.
  8. I‘m not planning to do SWAT atm. This pack should pass PD. Than I‘ll see.
  9. Ok, this is as far up as it goes! A bit more and the straps would choke me.... If I'd try SWAT one time I'll have to chance my whole weathering. Had no one to take the picture. This is the pack I was aiming for. The Pack 3 "Move along" I guess? I'll try to shorten and chance the angel of mortar tube tomorrow.
  10. Thanks for the reference. Your right I tried to build the pack after SWAT level standarts, thats why I was so confused when airborne trooper mentioned the lad pipe. So I assume there are two different pack 3, the "Move along" pack (without lad pipe and bend frame) and the "Alley check" pack (with lad pipe and straight frame). Am I right? Or is that the same pack? I'm really confused now. I see what you mean with the mortar tube, it should end with the plunger cap. It although appears that the mortar tube is parallel to the upper seedtray, I'd need to fix that too.
  11. New pics with the strpas shortned a bit. Left shortend straps, right old pic.
  12. Thank you, so I should leave the lad pipe on the pack? Will try to shorten the straps, then the pack should come up abit. I'll post some pictures tomorrow.
  13. Attached the ladpipe, this is how it looks at the moment. I'm still not 100% sure about this, from the back it looks alright but from the side I think it looks wrong...
  14. First testfit, forgot to put on my neckseal . Still need to attach the ladpipe, the tuperware lid and the pouch on the shoulder. It's surprisingly quit comfortable. The canteen is rubbing against my butplate, which you can see by the gray and black colour. I guess that is normal?
  15. Thanks you, it's really annoing. But I'm almost finfihed now. I'm still missing the radardish, it is on its way. Might chance the big tape, it isn't wrinkeling enough. The rest is finished or am I missing something? Edit: Add the lad pipe, if it is required.
  16. I would like to be further but today nothing went according to plan... The upper seadtray's are connected. I tried to produce the paint error (I guess) on the brexton box, not finished yet. I need to get the edges a bit smother...
  17. So do you mean I should put it on the backpack?
  18. Since the weather was so good today I painted the transistors today and also attached the mortar tube. I didn't like the vacformed tuperware lide that I have, so I ordered a vintage one. Hope it was the right model.
  19. Nice siphon, I have the same radio and must say I really like it.
  20. Thanks , finally it's getting somewere. Today I cut the frame to lengh and tried out the placement of the parts together. Not cut yet. Cut version. The parts that I still nedd to attach, are the mortar tube, the transistors and the Canteen. Do I need to put another shorter and smaller tube on the left side of the pack or is that optional? There are some pictures with it and some without. I'm a bit confused. For example:
  21. One big step almost finished, the Radio. It's not perfect, but I am happy with the endreslut.
  22. Looks nice, how long are these bootles?
  23. Thank you Hausi, today I tried to replicate the red things (don't know the name) on the backside of the pack. My karimon frame came with one of them in brown. I just sew on some red fabric. The other one I hade to sew completly. Thanks to m4vriks wip I found out about the bottles beeing 14,00-14,50 cm long.
