I'm curious about the stinger being shorter and a little more round. Are you talking about the GioStyle canteen?
Charlie
Hey Charlie, yes, actually about that little tube at the bottom end of the canteen. I'll upload a pic of the screenused pack that shows this detail later today.

Congrats and welcome, very well deserved!

Wow, those are some amazing pictures, great work.

Hi Hux, to be honest, I don't know how you can delete your account yourself. But if you really want your account to be deleted, I can try to take care of it.

Hi Michael and welcome to the Sandpit! Good to see more dirty troopers from the German Garrison joining the MEPD. Have fun roaming the forums, tons of useful information to be found here.

Congrats Jochen, first PO of 2022 if I am right. Well done.

Hey mate, depending on which pack you want to build you will have to remove the lower cross bar (pack#3) or leave it in place to mount the lower seedtray at an angle (pack#1). You may also have to reposition the upper cross bar but I would recommend fitting the seed trays and mortar tube first before you cut down the frame.
For the exhaust port: I have scratch built mine from a block of wood that I have sanded to shape and just added some plastic piping, also used my heat gun to give it that curve you have mentioned. It's not that difficult.

This is one tidy application, kudos for putting so much effort into it, should be seen as a prime example for all future applicants.
Love the weathering.
One wee bit of criticism : I always encourage people to go full Tunisian Bapty E-11. But at least there's still room for improvement in the future.

Go dirty for the win.

Hey Jochen, great to see your application here! Keep those high res pics (as your mugshot) coming, even if this thread might then take slightly longer to load.

Hi Stefan and welcome to the sandpit, have fun browsing the forums here, you'll find heaps of useful information... but above all: have fun building.

Hi Peter, I have used a regular blue wire, sky blue seems too bright. For the tubing I have used fuel line for the tube wrapped around the barrel in the middle and just some black electric cables that protrude from underneath the fuel line wrap and go to the front. Unfortunately all my pictures of my T-21 build threads have gone.

Welcome to the sandpit you two, please don't forget to post a link to your 501st profile.

Hi Jeff, good to have you here with us.
I have never been to Australia myself but would love to visit once.
I have already built some HDPE helmets from down under (Anon Stormtrooper) and I love watching Mighty Car Mods.
I'm looking forward to seeing your progress on your WTF kit and pack, have fun building!

Welcome to the sandpit Viper.
As this is an English-speaking forum, it would be very much appreciated if you could post your request in English please.
Furthermore, you should also provide a link to your 501st profile, as everyone else has done before you.

Great work, I really like your attention to detail, the red canvas support straps, the feet on the radio and the fact that you took the time to paint the pvc-pipe-frame silver to emulate paint chipping, very well done!
If you don't mind me giving you some advice: the bee stinger on pack#3 is a little shorter but larger in diameter while the upper bottle should be shorter.
Looking forward to seeing you apply for PO soon!

Hi Chris, welcome to the sandpit!
The UKG has some of the greatest sandies around, try getting into contact with Britpatrol, those guys also inspired me to build my sandie.
Have fun building your armor, looking forward to seeing your progress.

Can you post a pic ot the belt? I wonder what it looks like.
It's actually quite easy to build your own exhaust port, I have done that and documented it in my own pack#3 build thread, unfortunately, another picture hosting website has failed me and all the pics are gone. I have put so much time in these threads and I am actually fed up updating them, feel to lazy right now but I still have some pics and will post them here, just have to get to my computer to do that.

Hey Brian, that's looking great already. Is the rest of the anovos armor also as thin as the belt? On the other hand, having a thin belt might keep it from breaking...
We always recommend RWA Creations for seedtrays, Ross's stuff is great.
Have a fun build, I am looking forward to seeing your progress.

Hi Don, I am so sorry for getting you into this sandy mess.
However, I am excited to see your build. Your other costumes look amazing and I am sure, you'll find some interesting reading material here, especially knowing you are all about those tiny little details, just as most of the other crazy and great dirty dudes here.
Great to have you here with us.

You have really done a good job adjusting the shape of the backside bottom of your thighs and blending in the sludge. The coverstrips are still not completely centered but this is definitely okay and a go from me.
Weathering on the shoulder elastics looks great and very realistic, I can still remember my own first try… and it was horrible.RESULT ON ARMOR

In this screencap, you can see that the so-called "bee-stinger" on pack #3 is a quite short but thick (in diameter) tube:
hope this helps.
