  1. There are so many better options from much more reliable sellers and makers out there...
  2. Thanks mate... but too expensive.
  3. Really cool pics mate, nice Jabba setpiece, but I also like the ones with Bibo... man it has been a long time since I've seen that bird
  4. Wow, love it! Great work and attention to detail. Who did you get your kit from?
  5. I also did it but I only cut a wedge out of my thighs, for SWAT it depends on the trooper you want to emulate, if you can see the back of his thighs and shins (no matter if it's really in the movie or in some off-screen pics) and there's no wedge cut out, leave it as it is.
  6. Hi Vincent, Your armor looks awesome, same goes for your pack and I really like your weathering! Seems to me that you are going either for the cantina captain or docking bay? I can definitely see your attention to detail although some changes would become necessary as soon as you decide going for SWAT... but not too many Don't forget to add some pics of the six rivets on your left side, codpiece and buttplate rivets, as well as the male backside of the snap on the right side of your abdomen. The only thing that seems wrong to me at first sight is the shoulder pouch which is sitting way too high, try to move it down. Good luck with your review mate!
  7. Canvas hip pouches are allowed for PO as far as I know but the use of leather pouches is encouraged. The original ones were "Stolla Wien" pouches or other variants eg. Spanish pouches. Depending on where you are from, you can try ebay to get a genuine vintage one or you get a replica, you can find makers in the supply depot part of the forum.
  8. Sorry to hear but it shouldn't be too difficult rebuilding the front sight with some black abs sheet, heat forming it to the right shape and attaching it to the blaster. Hope you get what I mean Next time let your son play with the rubber DLT
  9. Hey Chris, I have to admit that I also find it a little strange you didn't get deployed immediately, I can understand you're upset about this after having put so much effort into getting your gear up to snuff but don't hang your head, you are so close.
  10. Hi Eliot, I assume you have an RS rubber-foam DLT, add wire to the T-strips and a charging handle to the weapon to make it look more accurate, I would also add some weathering. Good luck with your review
  11. That is one nice pack with great attention to detail Didn't like the red canvas at first but thinking about adding that to my pack now
  12. I sucked at it too at first but I became better, just took some practise, so you migt want to practise with something not as precious as your pouch
  13. I've put mine on my old punk rock jeans vest, but was also thinking about making such a shirt, looks nice!
  14. BTW your kit is already looking good but you could try to get the biceps and forearms a little closer together.
  15. I have also attached the biceps to the shoulder bell with elastic and snaps on the inside, that might help as well.
  16. Hi, I have used rivets, reposition the leash as well so the pouch is attached to the canvas belt at the correct angle.
