  1. SOLO - Mimban Trooper CRL Development

Is there a pack with this guy? I do not see it. I see the cape. Wonder why he wears a cape? If there is a pack, I can build it and send it to someone for their wearing in the crl.
  2. attching the mortor tube.

I use 1.5 inch long black self tapping screws. I start on the frame side and drill a pilot hole. Then I insert the screw and screw it through the pack frame and into mortar tube. I only use 2 screws. It holds very well for me and my packs. I do the same thing for the pipe on the other side.
  3. Lightweight Filter pack build suggestions?

I make custom aluminum frames that are sized like the karrimor and use the large sized seed trays.
  4. Henselmonster Backpack Build

Yes. I am already doing some for people. I am also using 4 aluminum 1 inch wide strips across the frame to attach the seed trays to the backpack. Makes for a strong and lightweight pack. Going to build my personal pack this way.
  5. We now have a resin version of the Shires siphon.
  6. Battlefront Heavy Trooper / SE CRL Discussion

By the way, the SE Sandtrooper pack does have some differences. See below. There are 2 tubes, a box on the top and some of the main tubes are different.
  7. Battlefront Heavy Trooper / SE CRL Discussion

I am actually creating molds for the main boxes now so they can be vacformed for better accuracy. I will also be making a few improvements to some of the parts so they exactly match these pictures.
  8. If you need help finding parts, just let me know. I build these packs for people and I am constantly sourcing and/or making the parts.
  9. Congrats dude. I would also go for the Magmatrooper approval, but I do not want to retire my HWT.
  10. I have all of the pictures. I just need to post them. The idea for this was just to make a simple thread to follow. Been looking for a job lately, so I have not been on Forums as much.
  11. I am currently constructing a Rogue One Sandtrooper Kyber Crystal Backpack for someone and have been taking pictures along the way. The intent of this thread is to show you where you can get the materials from and how to build this pack. As of today, I have built 5 of these. The reference photos can be found in another section of this Forum. The best place to start is with the pack frame: FRAME: You can use 2 different styles of frames for the backpack. The easiest one to locate is the Swedish LK 35. I usually can find these on Ebay. This is one I found on Ebay using the description "Swedish LK 35 Backpack". Front View: Back View: Most likely you will only be able to find these in used condition with dings and scratches. Sometimes you can get lucky and find on that had not been used. The first thing you want to do is remove the pack and shoulder straps from the pack. Frame Front View: Frame Back View: Once everything is removed, lightly sand the frame to remove any rust or corrosion. Then add a prime coat and at least 2 coats of flat or satin black spray paint. The Frame is now ready. Next will be the Grenade Box.
  12. I like it.

  15. Battlefront II Heavy Trooper

I can post something in the ROTJ forum on FISD and see what response I get. I would just have to ship the pack to them. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  16. Battlefront II Heavy Trooper

This is the same problem we keep running into. No one has ROTJ armor. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  17. Battlefront II Heavy Trooper

I play the game, so if we need more screen shots, I can get them. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  18. Battlefront II Heavy Trooper

These are pictures of the latest version based off of the game (that I love to play)
  19. Battlefront II Heavy Trooper

Very nice. Of course I already have done the pack for this one. This will be another nice addition to MEPD.
  20. I have to jump in on this discussion. This discussion was had in great detail on FISD last summer. As a Centurion Level HWT, I originally pushed for this to be on FISD, especially since I had built many of the packs. However, after very lengthy discussions, I agreed that it should be on MEPD. One of the conclusions we came to was that ALL dirty TK's should be on MEPD (with the exception of the HWT, but that is a different discussion). If you really want to see all of the details, click on the link below. This is the full discussion on the topic that I was privy to (as I am not on Command Staff). https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/42076-the-types-of-r1-armor-and-where-they-are-going/

  22. My (door Party) Pack #2 trooper built

Looking good. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
  23. Pack straps over or under arm straps?

I do the same. It prevents the shoulder bell straps from snapping off. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
