  1. Look here in my thread, there are some pics from my built:
  2. Hi Samuel You can try using a hairdryer. But please be careful. If you heat it up too quickly and the ABS gets too hot, you won't be able to get it back into shape. Velcro for the calves is OK and holds well, but I would still use the original hook system, so the calves remain somewhat flexible. Regards Thomas
  3. Good morning, You're really getting into it. You're right, the armor pieces as well as the helmets and the accessories were swapped several times. This means you can always see new variations and details in the individual scenes. Thumbs up, the trooper will definitely be great. I'm really excited about the end result. Below, this will be a "cheesegrater". Do you want to cast it yourself out of latex?

  5. Hi, It's really looking good. But I agree with you, you could cut away a little bit. But not much. Regards bigwam
  6. Hello David, you got that wrong. The RS pouches are not suitable for level 2. Weeder for hips, nor shoulders. Here, compare for yourself, they look different: Put away the pouches from RS. You can take one for hip and shoulder like you show above my post. I would adjust the straps a bit. You can combine as you like at level 2: 2 pockets on the hips, one pocket - it doesn't matter. The combination doesn't matter either. Leather MP40 (Stolla style) and large Spanish, 2 x Leather MP40,One Leather MP40 (Stolla Style) two small Spanish (yes, I still sell ), medium and large - it doesn't matter how. But please no RS. And on the shoulder either canvas MP40 or leather MP40 (stolla style). The disc on my DLT is with an diameter of 24 mm.
  7. Hello David, I'm glad you're aiming for level 2. Let's make sure you meet all the requirements. Name: David Copp Legion ID: 20702 Forum name: Archangel_dc Garrison: French Garrison Helmet a. I know these are the standard RS pouches. Leather pouch for the shoulder is ok, but they should have the style of the Stolla pouches. The same applies to the pouches on the belt. You can find comparison pictures below the comments. Second, the French pouch is no longer allowed for level 2. While it's similar to the Spanish one, it's not film accurate. Also here is a comparison picture under the comments. Level 2 claims to be quite close to the film model, so I have to criticize that. So if leather, then on the shoulder in stolla style and on the hip shown in the picture. Alternatively, an MP40 pouch made of canvas for the shoulder, which was dyed black - but not for the hip. Backpack a. details: check b. weathering: check RESULT ON BACKPACK check an cleared Weapon: DLT-19 & T21 The T21 is beautiful. A beautifully designed weapon. The same goes for the DLT, which only has one little thing missing, the disc above the handle. The image appears below. Result on Weapon pending Ok David, there are only two small things to fix and nothing will stop you from unlocking level 2. Nothing serious or elaborate, but just details that bring you closer to the film template. I think you'll have done that as soon as possible and I'm looking forward to more pictures! Best Regards bigwam.
  8. Hello David, thank you for your request. I will start your Review soon. Regards bigwam
  9. Ask Ross from RWA-Creations
  10. The second pouch is useless. And for the other pouch, please dye the seams black. But are the pouches really black? The display shows green? It can also be a very dark green and the illustration is deceptive. If so, dye it black. But you won't see that until you have it.
  11. Oh, sorry. I forgot it. Done.
  12. No. You can thread the strap under the elastic for the shoulder bell.
  13. Now I know what you mean. Thanks. Well, some original parts from World War II were used for the film. And with the original magazine pouches, the small pouch for the magazine loader is - depending on the manufacturer - more on the outside or, like in the film, on the inside. I have an original piece here that also has it sitting more on the inside. If you want to do it very accurately, detach the small pouch and sew it inwards. The pouch is usually attached to the shoulder strap of the backpack. If you want to troop without a backpack but with a pouch, then I do it this way:
  14. Dying would be the best method. I don't understand that with the small pouche? You need the fabric bag with the small pouch already sewn on. What do you mean by "need to be positioned?"
