I am no expert so take my feedback with a grain of salt :-) first thing I noticed was it look like you had a malfunction on your right side strap between the ab plates and kidney plate where the strap came loose and caused a large gap try to get those gaps closed all the way. The second thing I saw was that a picture you just posted of an update of the elastic straps on the shoulders I think what they meant was is you needed the sewing detail on the shoulder that looks more like The other piece I would take another picture of would be the hand plates they're supposed to be latex so I would give them a squeeze to show they are. Question for ya monkey, does it seem to much? It gives a tint to the armor overall and is not really white. I was thinking of hitting the open areas with either some sandpaper or a magic sponge to bring it back to being more white. some progress so far today with the fullers earth.

Getting ready to complete the last layers of weathering and wanted to get thoughts. I got the 3 color pack of fullers earth and have watched a couple videos on applying. I am leaning toward the mix with water wipe on and then thin it out and wanted to make sure I had the mix right 3/1 water/fullers if I remember what I was told (danka Felix) . Any other tips would be great

I am working on closing the side gaps , I have made the new shims I wanted to ask a question. The six rivets on the left side three on the kidney plate and the three on the ab plate that hold the elastic straps are the straps necessary or only the rivet details? So ab plate would overlap the shim and I would add the rivets to the shim. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok couple questions , I have seen a couple threads where grout was used , the results look really good and you can vary the color some . I am on the fence for using this vs Fullers earth Pros and cons of each anyone? Also , is there a go to place or brand for purchase of the earth? I was going to purchase from Trooperbay . I like this because you got 3 shades. https://trooperbay.com/costuming-supplies/modeling-weathering/fullers-earth-combo On a side note Trooper bay also has the little bottle of "Authentic Mos Eisely Sand" from the Buttercup Valley set. Though not Technically the real ME sand from Tunisia I thought it would be fun and nostalgic to buy the little bottle and throw it on for some "authentic" weathering $3 and is I was already buying the earth from them

Update after a couple items came in today. First using the plastic bond vs plastic weld on the handle, the weld holds great and is easily filed/sanded while the bond was more rubber like and when sanded peeled off ... magazine - looks good, I am not the expert by far but it is made of sheet metal and fully functional for airsoft , well for now anyways . I will need make some modifications to the holder, not sure if in the end it will be easier to remove and add. This piece was only $14 so no biggie is this ave don't work out. Easy finish on the counter, add speaker terminals to ends and will be set. Super excited about the window. Carved out the space from the hyperfirm counter window was $12 off etsy and came with the printed numbers. I left it so much like the real sits out some, this is just a mock up for now.
