  1. Looks awesome! Really nice work. They are heavy but feel and sound so good! The longest I've trooped with mine was about 40min.. Now I need to get some real Sterling parts for my next Babty! Lol.. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  2. Just an idea. What If you trimmed the curved line then brought the whole ear up leaving a screen accurate gap at Mark 2. ?? Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  3. The ear looks a bit low.. the top should be just below the bottom of the brow. can you raise it up? Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  4. That's a great idea. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  5. I tried to upload a pic but it won' let me.. If you go to https://tk386.com/backpacks/ there is a great pic of the filter pack. Hope it helps.
  6. Great looking weathering Olympus! Just a few things on the field pack. -The filter isn' the right style or size. - the bottle looks tapered.. but it shouldn' be. - Tupperware stow-n-go should be lid against the seed trays, not facing out. - and the radio.. Just a few things, all part of the fun !
  7. Nice kit! Great to see more PO's.. The one thing that jumped out to me was your filter. The tubes are a bit too big. They should be closer to .5 cm in diameter. Good luck!! Your well on your way.
  8. If you check out trooperbay.com they have the correct size split revets at a fair price. That's where I got mine. Good luck with your build!
  9. Thanks Urs. The mg parts are pricey and hard to get here in Canada too. We have some strict gun laws... Looking forward to your Bapty build. The paint work you did on the t-21 was excellent!
  10. Looks awesome! I wouldn't put any rust on it. The real parts that I used on my last build didn't have any.. Pre treating the wood to that dark colour is a great idea. Really nice work!
  11. Looking really good! You'e done a great job. Good luck and we'll see you out in the sand soon!
  12. Looks good. You have some nice weathering and did a great job on the hand painted helmet details. A couple of things that stood out to me though.. The cover strips on the thighs should only reach down to the detail ridge, not over. And the dlt-19 has mechanics wire around the t-tracks, not plastic covered wire. Good luck with your application !
  13. Looks great! Really nice work. The filter pack is my favorite.!
  14. A little epoxy puddy or wood filler works well for filling in any air bubbles.
  15. I'd try the dirty wash first. If it doesn't darken it down enough it' fairly easy to clean off.
  16. That real m40 looks awesome! Really nice work, well done. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  17. So much great info! A big thanks to the brothers on FISD for all that research and work! Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  18. Going on the Christmas list! Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
  19. I like kneeling down for kids in wheelchairs with my swat armor, so the wedge is really nice to had cut out. If you go that route, just cut small amount at first. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
