Here is the final weathering product. Got my Legion approval today! Thanks to everyone for the advice and support. It was much appreciated.

So I know I’ve been slacking with pictures but I’m finally done. I submitted the pictures after some final tweaks and I’m happy to say that I’ve been approved by my GML. I received my Legion approval today. Say hello to TD-18542. Below are pictures of the final outcome. There are still some minor fixes that the GML wants done and I will get to those ASAP. It feels good to be done but it’s sad at the same time because I really did learn a lot through the process and I feel proud to have made something so awesome. Now it’s on to building the backpack. Thanks to everyone for the advice and support. It was much appreciated. I’ll update this with my backpack build soon.

So I'm heading over to my Garrison CO's house today to touch up the weathering and take submission photos. I just gave it a final test run and I think it looks great but a second opinion never can hurt. Is there anything in the pictures below that looks wrong or that won't get me basic approval?

You might want to check with your GML as well, as they have the final say. They might be able to give you some good advice.

Weathering looks nice and overall looks good. I think nick's suggestions will give you a cleaner look

Welcome! Who are you getting your pack kit from?

I second that. Remember, it's white armor that is dirty. You should be able to look at it and say that it is white armor at its base. I would also get in touch with your GML, as they have the final say. Mine is particular about how she wants it to look and I've had to redo it several times. Also, a picture outside in natural sunlight will show what it really will look like at most troops.

Heavy Weapons Troopers come from the video game series Battlefront. Not sure about the new one but the previous two for sure.

So I met with another garrison member last night and we worked on getting the pieces to fit. After moving them around and adjusting here and there, here is what the back looks like. This is the only picture I have as this was the main area of concern. I think with the measurements I took that I shouldn’t have any more surprises in store as I make the straps. Looks good! My only advice would be to get in touch with your GML and figure out what they are looking for in the weathering. If I had done that at the start it would have saved me some time and headaches.

Several fellow Garrison members have recommend the same thing. Once it's approved its going to get sprayed.

I think it looks pretty good. My only advice would be to get with your GML and get their opinion. I wish I would have done this from the start, would have saved me some extra work.

We worked on painting at Comic Con and while it was probably still drying it was in my bin for transport. After talking with fellow Garrison members in going to clear coat it after approval. Will at least help keep the weathering on longer in between touch ups.
