annnnnnd another authentic vintage part for my pack! The Giostyle canteen! Getting closer to 100% vintage! Still trying to figure out if the exhaust was made from found parts or custom built. Same with bottles. Other than that I’m at like 75-80% vintage (minus radio, but it’s a cast of a vintage part so I’m counting it at this point lol)

Any sandies in Florida want to join the patrol we are forming in central FL? Still settling on a name. Leaning toward Twin Suns Patrol. Figured we can open the patrol to all Florida Sandies who may come to Central FL for conventions, Disney and Legoland stuff. We have a Facebook group setup right now while we plan it all. I will add you!

That happened with my RS bucket. Maybe you could have it sent to a local UPS store and you can pick it up yourself. Thats usually what I do incase I'm not home

Hell I'm halfway tempted to get the hyperfirm, its in super good condition, mine is a low low low B-grade. It was the last blaster pulled from their molds, and part of the mold silicone is still embedded in my blaster lol.

Finally getting started on the TD build for my wife Aimee (@birthdaydino) She is about 5'5" and has a slim/athletic build. So quite a few modification to the armor will have to be made so it fits her frame and so she isn't swimming in it. This is her in all her badass glory: Got the main bulk of the trimming done. Need to finish up the legs. After this we will be sizing it to her and trimming it up some more to fit better. I will be sure to show before and after pics for. those who may do the same thing to their armor. Excited to have my wife join me on troops! This will be awesome. Heres to the future Desert Fox member!

Daaaaang. Yea man, I feel your pain. I don't even want to know at this point how much money has gone into my regular sandy pack. I managed to track down mostly vintage parts....that has been, pricey.... Maybe there is another fishing pole thats close thats cheaper or maybe it can be scratch built?

Looks fun! I have been wanting to do a Blue and Gold banquet for some time. Want to give back to the scouts!
