  1. Looks at the special edition Sandy. Kidding kidding! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  2. I used brass brads for paper fastening. Just cut the tails off and superglue them on. Looks right but non functional.
  3. It looks really good, and I love your helmet.
  4. Don't worry, most of us go through it. My armor sat in a box for about 3 months. Just take it piece by piece. And watch Trooperbays video tutorials. You can't go wrong there.
  5. Not really haha. There's no bucket hat guy there. I still have hope lol.
  6. Dude! Me too! I've been waiting to replicate that picture. Already have the bucket hat, just need some bearable weather.
  7. Same issues, I just life with it. I can't turn my head left because it hits the ammo pouch.
  8. Looks good. I'd suggest for the chest to do more of a big blotch pattern to be the vocal weathering for the chest. Look at the screen armors to see what I mean. Most have a distinct large blotching on the chest. Just gives it that iconic look.
  9. Where can I procure a bottle lol?
  10. Have a boba and vader on my forearm, first order tie fighter on my wrist, imperial cog on my elbow. And a huge tk piece on my bicep. Still need to finish it.
  11. Awesome. How'd you do the weathering? Very close to the screen look.
  12. That's great news. Always good to have more troopers in the dirt.
  13. It is all preferences for sure. I have a high brow and I feel like I have one of the most menacing helmets out there.
  14. I doesn't have to be. But let me tell you it seals the deal.
  15. TD. Wips: Tie Pilot, Ghost B.C Nameless Ghoul. Tentative: epvii flametrooper, epvii Tie Pilot.
  16. Stumbled upon this on accident and it really helps, best success I've had so far. For anyone looking to remove or edit their weathering. Things you will need: 1. Thick Dry Erase marker 2. Paper Towels 3.Windex Simply dry erase over any spots you want removed, let dry for 15-30 mins. Get a paper towel wet with windex and wipe away. It will pull the marker off and a good amount of the paint. Repeat as necessary. This is the best method I have found, eliminates hard scrubbing and won't damage armor. And this really helps on giving a visual on what is going to be removed.
  17. What size would you recommend for a suit? And do you finish it off with hair spray?
  18. That's does look close! Where do you buy that?
  19. So I want to re do my weathering because I went a bit over the top. And I want to try something that looks accurate. What is the generally accepted accurate looking weathering. I did acrylic paint but It just doesn't look right.
  20. Put mine on after chest and back. But before arms. Let it be known I can't do it alone either.
  21. From my hands on. Trooperbay is a tad bigger and a little more "well made" looking. Not to say trooper1 isnt. It just looks like a factory "perfect" item if that makes sense. It's also more rigid and not as flexable. Both are great to be honest and you want go wrong wither way.
  22. Pauldrons confirmed for TFA. Not enough to be a sandy though.
