  4. looking good, leg are definitely easier with help, i was lucky enough to have VF2112 help me with mine, do you still need to paint the screws on the bucket white? well and truly on your way though, keep troopin'
  5. what has been seen cannot be unseen
  6. heres the t-21, i think i just need telephone cable, metal details for cleaning kit in stock and a shoulder strap T-21 90% done by apiper211, on Flickr T-21 90% done 2 by apiper211, on Flickr
  7. also i redid the velcro on the calves, and have mostly finished painting the T-21, added a couple of staples in my pack straps so they wont come undone again

  11. Hey guys, bit slow getting on the MEPD forums with this build thread, I do have a thread on the southern cross garrison that is more chronological, but i'll show where im at Im very lucky to have VF2112 helping me through this or else Id have no idea Starting with where im at, i have a pack thats about 90% done, and I now have the parts to finish it so i'll get some work done this week heres the frame unpainted heres it painted, its got a bronze undercoat with black over the top to sand off and help with a weathered appearance, same with the tupperware seed trays I got rid of the maccas frozo cup later half assembled, already contemplating changing the exhaust port cistern from Gordonator, radio made using 3mm black abs and using apeers' template Next is the t-21 using pandatroopers template and guide, made with 18mm mdf, 3mm mdf and 6mm ply, some 32mm dowell, pvc pipe, still have a bit to do but once again, its getting there and now onto the MTK armour and the first real lot of questions excited as a boy on christmas morning opening the box after a lot of help from Vince, this was day 1's effort, thighs arent attached to anything which is why they are falling down, #ShamelessBathroomSelfie okay so the question is, do i need to trim another inch off each side, so snap and top split rivet are visable or for approval will i just need to show that they are there
  12. congrats Vince, you definitely deserved it
  13. Hey Guys, i'm a new recruit from the good old "land down under" Southern Cross Garrison to be specific. No armour kit yet but I am on the ATA waiting list. In the mean time I've started making a budget "loose interpretation" pack and am gathering materials for a T-21. Hopefully will be doing a lot of the stuff like making my own shoulder pauldron, looking at how terrible it is, crying, than ordering a quality one. Already loving how helpful you guys are. Cheers, Piper.
  14. until i decide to save up some cash for a screen accurate pack, this forum topic is my bible, definitely a fantastic "on a budget" pack
