  2. Yep been a Long term project, I was going to stop but people kept wanting them so I kept updating and building, I was told by another guy to cut up the old silicone moulds and use as fillers on the new, save a lot on silicone. Sold several DLTs to members of the Britannia Patrol as well as TKs, TXs and TBs too Oh and a Dengar.
  3. And finished. Sent from my F3211 using Tapatalk
  4. Been a while but I'm now on the RDR DLT-19 V5, a lot of improvements and way way more details now. Well that's it for now. More to come. Sent from my F3211 using Tapatalk
  5. Well after the success of the V2 the mould decided it had had enough, so i updated and cleaned the masters up and made a new mould for the V3, i have had several order for the V3 and all parties are very happy with what they have received. Here are a few pics of the V3 updates and finished DLT, i have made a new covking handle, butt plate, rear bipod mount with groove, forward and fear sight now flip up. I'm now working on other details which i have now discovered ready for the next mould.
  6. the last bit and done, rear sight i haven't put on and just need to add the wire but this is it done and dusted. This project has been fun and painfull, it turned out to be more like a full time job but i have enjoyed it.
  7. Well after working ******* this i have been asked by a few people if i'm making more, at first the answer was no but after a successful scratch build, mould and casting of my scout trooper blaster i decided to start the ball rolling with my DLT. These are pics so far of the strip down, modding and extra detailing of the main body, when done and had a final smooth sanding i'll be moving on to the bipod and muzzle end, i hope to start the moulding ans casting by the end of March. Undercoat added to clearly see what areas needed more filler and sanding, selector switch and dust cover added. That's all for now folks.
  8. Hi I thought i'd share my MG34/DLT19 scratc build, i borrowed a friends Doopydoo drw plans and built from bits and bobs using the doopy as a guide and ref, mines not 100% but i'm chuffed to bits with it and plan to use it with my Sandy.A couple of small details to add but it's there i think.
  9. Hi All, I'm Steve TB2270 of the UK Garrison, been trooping for sometime now and to be honest i never wanted to be a TK or TD back at the begining but for some reason over the last few months i have found going sandy very appealing and so i have started my journey to the sand pit following in my brothers foot steps.
