  1. Here is my file for the radio faceplate if you want to save yourself somework. http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=13823&hl=
  2. So just got the email and my second costume has been approved! TD-17620 reporting for duty! http://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=17494 Now to get the backpack done.
  3. I think between Rebels and the new films we are going to be seeing the pauldron on a lot more of the "regular troopers."
  4. OK! Its been a while. Lets just skip over a few steps and jump right in! So I still need to put elastic in the back of the calves, put the ammo belt onto the thigh, reattach the right side ammo section of the belt which popped off, and of course fill the holes on the right side torso where I accidentally put the split rivets in the first time (and then weather this bad boy). Oh and I accidentally put the biceps on the wrong arms. Does anything else pop out to anyone as being wrong or needing adjustment? ...and yes I know my hand plates are wro g for the docking bay 97 trooper. I'm just aiming at basic approval for now.
  5. Sorry I didn't see this sooner. All of my print files are available for personal use in this thread: http://forum.mepd.net/index.php?showtopic=13823&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1 Enjoy!
  6. So I use the local library to do my prints. He is not big on making double prints. Sorry.
  7. OK. Trying to get my head back in the game. Did my first mock up of my torso armor today. I need to resize my left forearm and finish putting cover strips on all of the arm armor. I'm currently researching how I want to trim up the ab plate for accuracy and will probably separate the cod from the above. Also need to look into making the bottom of the back plate more accurate: Comments, questions, concerns, suggestions?
  8. As a kid I had always wondered why they bothered to show up at the cantina at all. It seemed odd that they would bother with a local disturbance (especially in a place that is known for being rough) when they are in the middle of a city wide search. Only two thoughts I had on it back then was 1: they are a local police force separate from the search group. Or 2: They heard about a lightsaber being involved and have a mandate to check out all reports of lightsabers. That begs the question though if they knew a lightsaber was being swung around in the cantina doesn't that sound like something Vader would have come down and checked out personally?
  9. Sorry Baron. I just printed knobs and all. It came out all right I think. Will know after clean up.
  10. When you say it is broken? Post pics. You might want to try some of the armor makers like Mon Cal. Sometimes they will sell you a single piece and might even have one laying around. Who made your kit?
  11. So this is a photo that Clint down in the Central Texas Squad sent me. The one on the left is the old back, one on the right is the new.
  12. Just make sure they have the correct seems and no zipper. that was the #1 issue I kept running into when I was looking.
  13. They were an Ebay find. Some guy in new york selling a black pair. Picked them up for $20 plus shipping and then bought a $2 thing of white leather paint at Michael's.
  14. Yeah. I have a craft iron but from tests earlier it doesn't get jot enough. I'll have to invest in a hobby iron soon. Thanks!
