And I always recommend Dr. Scholls gel insoles for any boot. Or similar Gel or memory foam insert. They just make boots so much more comfy during long hours on your feet. I use them in my Motorcycle Boots, My work boots, my Renfaire boots, and my trooper boots. Lands End Boots do seem to run a little tight so I recommed ordering a half size up from your normal shoe size. I did this and mine fit very well

Also Dallas if your looking to paint them the best paint I have found for boots is from a Company called Angelus. You can buy their products at alot of art and hobby stores or order it direct from their website. http://angelusdirect.com/collections/paint. They have a good white leather paint as well as prepper and sealer. and the prices from the direct site are pretty good. Several of the other troopers I've talked to have used it before and like it also.

I have a pair of the Lands End boots and from all the screenshots I've looked at they look pretty close. Once Painted white should pass as well as anything I've found here in the states.

Ive got too much left to finish with my Helmet and Armor, Plus have Felice working on a Bapty for me. So I can't work on an MG 34 right now. but These would be great for someone looking to make one.

Thanks for the pointers Vossk. I still havent decided which method Im going to use yet. I know alot of people use the fullers earth, and some swear by the Baseball rubbing mud. Also many use traditional painting methods. Ive seen some very good results with each so it just depends on what I can find and which method I think I will be most comfortable with.

Looks nice and Dirty to me. I have a question for all you guys that use the fullers earth method. Whats the best way to put it on? Also does it come off with water or soap? How do you control or dilute it when applying? With paint you can always water it down like a wash and or rub some off till you get to the desired dirty level till its dry. But Ive not used Fullers earth before. Or the Baseball rubbing mud alot of you talk about. If it is washable then do you need to clear coat over the top of it once desired level is achieved?

I have been searching for some plain padded backpack straps and came across these. Tell me if you guys think these will work and also if you know of other places to get comfortable straps for your pack that will pass inspection and also not stand out overly. Not Sure which Armor is best for your build as Im not the resident armor expert here. but for Backpack stuff check out the field pack section here as well as talking to Dirty Boy or Quartermater on here. They know a ton about packs and I bought a complete Pack from Dirty and he does a great job on them.

WEll No worries my friend other than the damage from shipping it looks great. I will fix the two pieces that are the major points of interest and shouldnt be very noticeable once glued and filled. I will get a new cap off some paint I have laying about and then touch up the ruff spots and then kind of paint and wetaher it to get it dirtier. That should cover any remaining things. It may end up looking like My TD has been in his share of scrapes outside the local watering hole but still a very nice pack. All the pieces and coloring are spot on.

That is sickening and disgusting. Nothing fun about purposely pushing and blindsiding another person period. I hope he was charged with assault. Also how much of a dumb @$$ do you have to be to assault someone who is entertaining little kids. Worthless piece of Bantha Poodo if you ask me.
