  1. I'll get it out in the mail to you tomorrow. You'll like it a lot.
  2. I offer a fully built fan system for $35 on the FISD and Legion boards... Very quiet, good continuous battery life (4hrs), can use a USB rechargable battery pack (USB cable is included), and shipped price is under what other vendors offer. I've sold 28 systems and have gotten a lot of kudos from fellow troopers who simply love this system. http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=3513 http://www.501stforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17238 Doing it yourself, the cost of fans, wires, switch, solder, and battery pack from RadioShack comes very close to my asking price. 3. I'd be willing to throw in some cool Star Wars stuff with you. PM on it's way. Kev Spec Ops DL
  4. Well it's clear that he doesn't respect the Dets enough to consult with us, and considers us Detachment Leaders powerless liaisons. That's about to change. I have escalated the issue to the LCO.
  5. As the TX Det Lead, we're fighting this update to the point that we do not officially recognize it. The TX Det is home to only EU Troopers, and as such, this change was never discussed with our Det or any of the 501st Detachment Leads before it was implemented. It's like the MEPD being told to accept TDs even if they don't come up to your Det standards. I know the MEPD doesn't want the HWT and they've always had a home with us because we are the EU Trooper Det. We don't like the change any more than you guys do, so we're fighting it. Let's hope the next time the Council or LMO chooses to make a change, they invite the effected Dets to discuss it before they force it upon us. Kev TX Det Lead and MEPD member

    lucas molds!

I'd tend to agree with the Meatsock theory - but have we all forgotten the Jason Joiner suits and helms? May be a possibility that it's a faceplate used to make the suits for the infamous "Blue Peter" show episode.
  7. Welcome, erase! We'll be running a spotlight on your Outpost in the next Static Burst. You guys have been growing like gangbusters over there!
  8. Always nice to see Peter Diamond again (holding the BFG). Rest in peace...
  9. My name's Kevin Christley from the Mountain Garrison and I'm an old MEPD member (thanks to Joe Musso) from the Yahoo & old forum days (I got lost in the upgrade), but I've always dropped by as a lurker to see what's been going on. I'm still working towards an accurate Sandie and have been upgrading parts for years - like most, I started with an FX suit, upgraded to SDS, now looking at AP. Only thing I need now is a hyper-accurate pack (I'm not satisfied with merely faking it). I'm 39, have a great supportive g/f, and I'm always willing to help out a fellow trooper. I'm also the TX Detachment Lead, as well as the Editor in Chief for the 501st Legion's Static Burst newsletter (let's get some MEPD stuff in there!).
