Cool! What did you make the pouches and the box on the pack out of? I want to do that, too! Still need to lower the backpack, though. I just drilled a hole in the pack and stuck in a new plastic peg: It turns out pretty good even though the packs are slightly oversized:

With the original strapping method, the ab suspends from the chest and the kidney suspends from the back. There are different ways of doing these attachments including the use of brackets and straps or snaps with straps.

I made a few mods to mine by filling in joint holes and improving the weathering. I also lowered the pack to a lower height. Here he is added to the alley scene via photoshop: Pretty hard to beat the quality for the price. More are on order so I can mod the pauldrons, too....
