I am 43 years old. I saw Star Wars A New hope ( Back then it was not called a new hope) opening day with my father and grandfather. We stood in line before the sun came up and the line wrapped around the block. I was lucky to have a father that was a huge Sci-Fi Fan. At that time it was the only theater in town playing it (The Chinese in Hollywood). From then on it has always been a huge part of my life. When the special addition came out in 98 my father , my son and myself went opening day, so Star Wars holds alot of personal memories. Still to this day when I put on my armor I am still a kid thinking wow I am a sandtrooper. For me it was always those Stormtroopers with the heavy gear and big guns.( I did not hear the term sandtrooper until way later on. Sure I went through a Boba Fett stage like most fans but the sandtrooper was it for me man! I am old school I guess. I love all Star Wars stuff but docking bay 94 scene still makes me so excited when I see those Troopers storming in!

I have 3 kids and a supportive wife who just smiles when I suit up and just walk around my neighborhood and talk to kids. It is nice to jump on these forums and connect with others who are just like myself. I had a fellow TD who called me Sandbrother. That made me feel really good and proud man!
