What if the UK prop store didn't use any Hong Kong radios but a local brand? We have seen this happening already with the Karrimor frames, the toilet syphons, the tupperwares sto&go and few other bits on the backpacks. How many radios they needed? Four, five and few custom ones to mock up the real ones. Maybe buying them in a local store without going that far to buy few would have been simpler. I have seen many re-branded ones or specifically made for the UK market.

I am the other member and I am in contact with the European supplier already which cares after custom fees and shipping costs for the part of the world. I am selling the exactly same canteens at the best affordable price I could get from them and offering a fair price for all the members (bare postage stamp's costs added for international shipping). I also have a mould of an original GioStyle style that I found on eBay with all the logos on it and I sell cast of it in sturdy Smooth-on D-65. But believe me it's way harder and time consuming make only one per time than get the brand new ones.

I've found those brackets on another couple of radios similar to the Sonix one. Seems that back in those years was a must. Only one thing is that not being a Sonix or Northern Star I wouldn't rely too much on these measures

are you referring to the Left or right side? if the left I use the splited rivets with a washer each for the right side the snap

I have no access from work in the UK but I double checked with other here and seem fine to them.

Hi guys, I was looking at my DDs the other day and I noticed that after all the effort to make it look right was still lacking of few bits. The rear sight is one of those.. And another bit here that instead should look like this So I managed to get a real rear sight ( quite heavy ) and I made a cast of it in order to play around with it without messing too much with my new precious. Here's the original one and the cast My aim is to get this position look on my DDs Ah in case you're wondering where I got the wire position on the t-tracks this is the one of the super clear reference pics of a DLT-19 in ANH ( not the replica one that goes around ) Back on track here's the WIP on my DDs Don't mind about the weathering on the sight this is a WIP and still few layers of paints are needed Here below the hole needed to be a bit wider to allocate the small bit on the back of the sight Once reached the desired height I drilled the sight too and checked if was working in standing position On the DDs ones has to be kept collapsible otherwise the DLT-19 won't be foldable any more. Well just perfect! Then I cut a nylon screw ( using a metal one it might snap the resin cast with the time ) And I used to secure the sight in place. And I drowned it in resin filling the hole and keep moving the sight to avoid to lock it in closed position. I'll upload more pics after the next session Here instead I started working on the mid section too

I would dull a bit with some light layers ( spray it from far ) of black without hiding the brown I did on mine too and after each layer I rubbed away fresh paint with crumpled sheet of paper

Love the weathering on the armour! One thing only if I can but your stock should look like more Bakelite than Wooden made

Well time wise is placed between the EPIII and EPIV. Very close to the second one being the plot about the Death Star plans. Who knows..
