Rick, Thank you for the opportunity and time I was able to spend learning from Mike. I know politics, personal agendas and egos sometimes get in the way, but this wasn't one of those times. I am humbled that past DO Mike thought of me and you guys wanted to give me a chance. The MEPD has always been my first home for the 501st. I love this detachment and the members in it. I know it just wouldn't be fare to them to try and balance DO responsibilities and home. I owe it to the new members trying to get deployed to let you select someone with the time, temperament, and detail to get our fellow members deployed and recognized for their dedication to such a great group. Thank you again for the opportunity and understanding. What a great way to select the next DO and thanks for your leadership. Now back to the little jawa. She is demanding another bottle.

Awesome news! Congratulations Brad!!!

Boss, I would like to throw my name in the hat to help my local group of dirty troops. I've built my own SWAT set in the past and currently working on two more builds. I'll also bring up the topic at the next NCG meeting to see if there are other members interested. I know we have several builders and some TDs that have been helpful in the past. I'll report back next month Boss, after the elections. Thanks.

First and foremost, thank you Rick and Michael for the vote of confidence. You let the cat out of the bag early Boss, but I appreciate the kind words. I know I have very big shoes to fill. Michael has been an outstanding Deployment Officer. I remember his first post after being promoted to the position and how well he did with outlining his appreciation and recognition for the new request. Always professional and there to help. And prior to Michael was Juan. Another great leader who made the troops know they were important and he was there to help. I hope to make the same impact and help get as many of our brothers and sisters Deployed and promoted to SWAT as I can. I’m humbled by the appointment and will do my best to provide as much accurate and unbiased feedback as I can. I know how hard we all work to make our builds great, and will do everything I can to help get every new trooper deployed as fast as possible. Thank you again for the congrats brothers and I hope to help make this the best year for our Detachment as possible . Lets have a great year and show the Legion and our fans what a truly great group of enthusiasts we are. Now back to work and as you were… Let’s increase our ranks.
