  1. Welcome, Dave. Yes our kits are a bit different on the assembly portion.
  2. Looking good! I love your weathering. Only thing that kinda stood out to me is the bottles on the pack. They seem a bit narrow and long IMO.
  3. I would get your pouches and pauldron here in the sale section. You'll get a higher quality of both! I'm a big time supporter of the TKTalkie even though I have not got around to upgrading to the latest v4 yet. Your WIP is right where it belongs.
  4. Very nice! I used nylon on the side with the 6 split rivets to avoid the stretch.
  5. Trooped the Troy Valley Cat's Star Wars night game last Saturday and it was a hot one! 96 degrees out so thankfully I have helmet fans. There was a very light breeze at times but it was a rough time. Trooped without the pack on due to the extreme temperatures so I felt a bit naked but my body appreciated it.
  6. The Davin Felth character is the dewback rider in the promo shots and also the "Look sir, droids" character on the movie. He wears pack style 3 prior to the seed tray separating which is later fixed with the gaffers tape that the captain wears in the rest of the sandtrooper scenes.
  7. I'm sure you could get plenty of people to buy them! The Karrimor are beginning to get harder to find and they can be expensive. I got lucky by getting one a few years ago.
  8. I believe one of the pack makers offers them. I can't remember which one lol. You can always hit that part last and get the rest together.
  9. 3 of my kids have star wars names lol. Lucas (he refused to go by Luke), Bria (from the Han Solo books), and Davin.
  10. I'll tell you what, everyone pitch in and buy me the armor and one of Shawn's packs and I'll be the CRL model
  11. 22x22. You are skinny so knock off that excess butt plate too.
  12. I still can't look you up. That just goes to memberDB, which opens mine. Do a member Search and plug in your info. Once you find yourself, copy that link. Just like how Brad did above. I would manually search but you don't have your TD number or anything else to go off of on your profile here.
  13. I like this method as opposed to all the PVC joints. Great work!
  14. Got to autozone. They carry the same paint I use for cheaper than amazon.
  15. Please provide a link to your 501st profile for verification. You're all set! 501st access granted
  16. No better way than trial by fire! The rest is easy stuff
