  1. Yes there is actually a problem with the iccoms. I reported a couple of issues 2 TK products a couple months back. They have been working on correcting the issues and have been sending me prototype iccom's to test out. they are really close to having everything ironed out. If I were you what I would do is contact them so that they are aware you're having issues. Jim is it really fair guy so I am sure he will work out some arrangements to get yours fixed.
  2. One thing I noticed that I brought up last year is The CRL on the MEPD site says this for Ammo Pouches 20.Ammo Pouches: Two or three in total, made of black leather, black or dark green canvas or black vinyl. Worn either at the hips or left shoulder, opposite of the pauldron. The CRL on the 501st site as well as the new CRL says this Ammo pouches Black in color, made of canvas, leather or leather-like German MP-40 style ammo pouches. There shall be two minimum : one pouch on the left shoulder and one on the right hip. A third worn on the opposite hip is allowed. The 501st CRL makes is sound like the pouches must be MP40 and that 1 has to be on the shoulder. We know that not all TD's had shoulder pouches in the movie. If possible that piece should be adjusted to allow the different pouches and not make the shoulder pouch a requirement. I believe this is something that you guys brought with the Legion last year. I am guessing if fell throug the cracks because the Legion went though 2 or 3 different LMO's due to people stepping down.
  3. Take a look at the backs of mine. I have some photos in my thread under the For Sale section. I would suggest going with a double rivit for each slot on the bottom back as well at the flaps on tops on the back. That was something I noticed from photos that Juan shared with me. Strength wise you are fine with 1 but 2 are more accurate.
  4. One of those things I would love to have. No matter how bad of a day I am having I could look down and see that someone else is having a worse one.
  5. I think it looks great as well!
  6. added photo in opening of updated jig size. The photo does not do much but I did take quite a bit of the height off and a little of the width and depth as well.
  7. I would like the help. I am NOT happy with the size. Right now I have it at 5 inch by 7 inch with 2 inch deep. By looking at the screen cab it really looks like the pouch is close to as high as the belt. I was planning I'm taking 1 inch off the height to bring the size down to 4 by 7 and that still might not be right.
  8. Here are some before dye photos of my road block pouch prototype. I also have one of my MP40 pouchs in the shot so you can get an idea of size. Similar to my MP40 pouches these are made out of 4 - 5 oz leather and do not need to be stuffed. *11-4 update, 1 finished I will open things up to feed back for bit before I start putting these up for sale. No need to be stuffed
  9. The small stuff is easy. Once you start branching out into the larger stuff is when it gets difficult and discouraging.
  10. Yes I know they are not finished being dyed yet, but shape wise would these be ok for police offier status?
  11. Hi Guys, actaully she was just going for general status. I will however start working on some of the items for the next level up. Does anyone have a good picture of what is needed for the snap on the ab plate. By looking at the photo in the CRL its hard to identify which part of the snap should be exposed. (as we all know with a snap technically there are 4 different pieces) I want to make sure I have the correct on showing. A picture with the belt on would be best, so I can judge in relation to the belt where it should be. Also are the rivits on the left side attached to anything or are they just present (ie. are they used to fasten a shim in)
