Canvas Shoulder pouch source
Beren replied to Beren's topic in Pouches, Pauldrons, and other Accessories
In case anyone if following along, this pouch arrived and was black. I've had remove and relocate the small side pouch since it was not in the correct location as shown on the Amazon stock photo, but otherwise, the pouch is very nice. Thanks bigwam for your guidance! -

I ordered these from Amazon… no need to dye, but will certainly need to weather. Not sure what I’ll do with the one without the side pouch. Please let me know if you see any other modifications I will need to make. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07GX33FTG?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image -

I had read somewhere that the small pouch is not normally in the correct location when purchased from a military replica vendor. I thought for our Sandies, we had to detach it and relocate it higher up. …and, how are most people attaching the shoulder pouch to our gear? -

Thanks for the suggestion! How hard is it to paint canvas? Will regular spray paint work or should I plan to dye it? Also, where does the small pouch need to be positioned? -
I am looking to finally add a canvas shoulder pouch to my gear…. Does anyone have any suggestions for a reliable vendor?

Just wondering who or where I can reach out to about ordering new trading cards for myself. Who is everyone using? Pete

Looking good Martin! This is the same trooper I emulated in my SWAT application, but Photoshop has shut me down and won't display my photos. I think you've done a nice job with this... at most, I see perhaps a few tweaks needed in your weathering including the pack, but otherwise very nice. Good luck with your submission. Glad to have another Docking Bay 94 coming aboard! -

I know this is an old thread, but I've always enjoyed seeing what everyone else has done. For me, perhaps my last build, I recently completed an animated clone commander and now am featured as the CRL model for this particular one. Behold... http://databank.501s...ecurity_Phase_2

I used four different shades of tile grout for my gear and sealed with hairspray as well, and I've been very pleased with the look. It adds an element of texture that you don't necessarily get with paint. I doubt Fuller's Earth would look much different, but I had spare grout laying around my garage.
