  8. Hi! Xavier of San Diego Squad. I have trimmed and shaped the whole upper circulate part of both thighs. Today I received the small patch from Mike. Thanks! Yet to decide where to put this patch on my armor.
  9. Make use of the holidays, I have further modified the thigh for shape that "close to" movie accuracy. IMO this won't be necessary for TE, TE2 or AP but is an essential shape trimming work for thigh armor of other fan-made brands like FX/GT or GF. When dressed, the thigh should nearly up to the belt and fit the "V" shape of the lower torso armor (In movie, some even had thigh that connect to the belt with no space in-between) . Again, movie accuracy shape of thigh is not listed as a requriment for deploy. Just my personal choice by best carry my title as "MEPD deployed" <_<
  10. Thanks! My only known way of showing sincere to MEPD and best carry the title of "Deployed" Best holiday wishes to all troopers here
  11. Please kindly note that I had further up-grade my lower armor for movie accuracy (not necessary in deploy requirements) - 1. Changed to movie accurate size of the three buttons; 2. Changed to movie accurate size of the three buttons/squares at the two sides and centre of belt; 3. By salute to the orange pauldron sandtrooper armor in the "Look sir, droids!" scene, add a little stick under the three buttons and inside the belt.
  12. Hello! William. Let me explain what I know: From what I see and with your words of "turn yellow", I can easily confirm that your helmet is an early production of GF (latter and till now refer to as "FX/GT") was produced by GF that sculpted from scratch during the year of your purchase (I purchaed the same thing in 1998). One speific of this early production of GF is that it will turn yellow after years passed by due to the thick and beyond quality clear paint used on the helmet (The latter production of GF ain't turn yellow even years passed by). After couple of years, GF had sculped a more screen accurate helmet that base on the original screen used helmet named GF2 (latter and till now simply refer to as "GF"). After a small run of QTY., GF had stopped his sale of GF2 due to the formal notice from LFL. So in short, FX/GT and GF were both produced by GF but FX/GT is not graded as ELITE in FISD and get deployed here. Hope my above help and best wishes to your deployment, brotherhood

  15. TD 5386 from Taiwan Outpost had spent 2 months from scratch to such a fruitful result. He politly consult my opinion through numorous phone calls and did lots of research by himself. Way to go! Johnny
  16. Nice work Marcel. For your info. - I notice that you stated two TKID in your signature for 4504 as TK and 4505 as TD while there should only be one TKID for every approved member. Now only your TKID 4505 is in 501st but with "No Costumes on file". So may be you have submitted two applications for both of your TK and TD costumes or something else that kept your membership delayed. Anyway, hope you get cleared ASAP
  17. Thank you, Bro. erase. So pleased have the 4th yr. trooping with you! Thx! Bro. Ray. So...only Jawas? No more vapour farms left to unleash?
