Greeting All. I having a quick Q... I have a member of my Garrison that is working on his TD (Sergeant) with his pouches he can go either the Desert Sergeant or Cantina Sergeant I am trying to help him get where he needs to go SWAT. I know you have to be spot on with the gear/weapon for the version of TD (i.e Cantina Sergeant ,Desert Sergeant etc...) Now my question is, the weathering need to be spot on to that exact TD? In the SWAT Level it says; "Weathering must be appropriate to screen used armor. Too little or too much weathering will not be allowed." From my time on the FISD Staff, I did write several CRLs...What I am reading here the SWAT is that as long as it looks screen good (don't frak up the weathering), you are golden, and it does not have to be spot on to the exact TD just the gear/weapon or it would read: Weathering must be appropriate to screen used armor of the 'version modeled after" . Too little or too much weathering will not be allowed. To give an example for being spot on with the exact weathering to the exact TD: If doing "Desert Sergeant" , the weathering approximately match the same weathering details and cannot vary much or be like: "Sergeant Docking Bay 94 V1" or "Sergeant Road Block V2" So what I am asking: as long as he does a good job on the weathering, whether his weathering matches the exact TD his gear/weapon does, will he have any issues getting SWAT approved? How about one of the climate controlled storage units that you can rent. Or anyone of your Garrison mates will let you store it at their house. Or maybe a family or friends' place. But, I would not just store it in a non-controlled place.. you paid good money for you TD gear, you do not want to maybe damage it by the wrong storage place.... Just my 2 cents.... Tom

When stated "Legends Edition", this means that the helmet will not be from a 3-D scan, but a casting, with painstaking measurements to duplicate material and process the way that the original helmet was done. Like Terry said the sandstorm was from ROTJ when Luke, Leia, Lando, Han and the Droids are trying to get back to the Falcon/X-wing after escaping from Jabba's barge/Sarlacc pit. A bit of Trivia: the sandstorm was the first scene shot for ROTJ. And Chewie was also wounded from the battle but that part of the story was ultimately cut as well when the sandstorm scene was cut.... If you look at the video below at the 13 second mark, you will see Lando and Luke helping Chewie walk.. They cut the sandstorm scene out and did an alternate take with them already in their ships flying away from Tatooine to speed the movie up. Also, Lucas said he did not like the way the Sail Barge explosion cut/wiped to the sandstorm . Lucas thought it would be better to cut from the BIG explosion to a more quiet moment in the film ( He felt that the audience needed that break...) Soon, they can make out some large vague shapes in the blowing sand. It is the Millennium Falcon and, parked beside it, Luke's trusty X-wing and a two-seated Y-wing. They must shout to be heard. HAN I don't know. All I can see is a lot of blowing sand! LEIA That's all any of us can see. HAN (blinking) Then I guess I'm getting better. As soon as the group huddles under the bulk of the Falcon, the wind dies down to something more describable as a severe weather condition. Threepio hits a switch, and the gang-plank lowers with a HUM. HAN (turning to Luke) I've got to hand it to you, kid, you were pretty good out there. LUKE (shrugging it off) I had a lot of help. Think nothing of it. HAN No, I'm thinking a lot about it. That carbon freeze was the closest thing to dead there is. And it wasn't just sleepin'. It was a big wide awake nothing! Luke nods, as Chewie growls affectionately at the young Jedi warrior, mussing his hair like a proud uncle. And Leia warmly hugs him. LUKE (moving to his ship) I'll see you back at the fleet. HAN Why don't you leave that crate and come with us? LUKE I have a promise I have to keep first... to an old friend. Luke and Artoo take off in their spacecraft. HAN (looking dubiously at Lando, obviously remembering his friend's betrayal and subsequent aide) Guess I owe you some thanks, too, Lando. LANDO Figured if I left you frozen like that you'd just give me bad luck the rest of my life, so I might as well get you unfrozen sooner or later. LEIA He means "You're welcome." Most likely details on the extensive special features and official box art -- So, clear your Wednesday calendar and keep refreshing that page, which currently features a conveniently ticking countdown to the main event. I just wish that LFL would get their head on strait and put out the "Theatrical Editions" ('77,'80,'83 versions non-SE stuff) in 1080P anamorphic widescreen!! But I know that will be in another Blu-ray box set Edition that will be put out probably 6 months later. LOL!!! Probably everyone has seen by now, the video that they showed at C5 at the Main Event of "Luke builds his new Lightsabre/ Vader calling to him" http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Oe0hBAiqdQ&feature=related Me personally, I saw it at C5 and I don't believe that it was "original footage, but ALL NEW footage that has been CG'd. Why I say that, is because I have read the old "Making Of Return Of The Jedi" and there is no indication that this scene was filmed. The other deleted scene "Sandstorm" was talked about extensively in the book, and it was even said that it was going to be a scene that they were going to take out while they were still in production. I have seen story boards of Luke building his lightsabre and it was also in the original comic book, but there has never been a sniglet of footage or photos from this scene until C5. I know a lot of people have argued with me about this point, but we have seen things like this done before like in Terminator Salvation with Arnolds face CG'd on to another actors body and also in Tron Legacy with Bridges/Flynn. The footage that was shown at C5 did not have the same pace nor cut that would have fit with the original film and does not follow the original story board or the comic book. In short, like I said, I think this scene is a forgery. Now to the deleted scenes that I hope will be in the bonus features. Luke watching the battle from the moisture farm. Even though this footage has been on a CD-ROM from the late 90's, it unfortunately was only in old grainy black and white footage, with no sound. It would still be cool to see it crystal clear with the music and sound. Anchor Head/Luke and Biggs talk. There again this footage has been seen from the same CD-ROM, but it had audio/video issues. In the last few years there has been a few fans that have attempted to clean it up to the best of their ability. But, like I said it would be nice to see it in 1080p. Luke and C3P0 in the landspeeder, extended footage, not previously used. But, a sniglet of this footage can be seen in the "Empire of Dreams" documentary on the bonus disc from 2004 box set. Removing the healing patch (Bacta Mask) from Luke's face. The attack of the Wampa's in Echo Base/Luke using a huge canon against one of the Wampas. Trapping/sealing some of the Wampas in a room and puttiing a warning sign on the door. C3P0 ripping the warnig sign off the door as they are fleeing to the Falcon. Unsuspecting Snowtroopers enter the room where the Wampas were trapped/sealed. Luke's Rescue extended The sandstorm Moff Jerjerrod: being tortured by one of the Royal Guards in front of the Emperor. There are other small scene that I didn't mention, but hopefully they will find their way onto the bonus features, if not in this set, maybe in one of the many sets that will probably follow......
