  1. The last time I suited up in my armor was on April 27, when I modeled for Dave Dorman's Celebration Europe print. I'm the sandtrooper in the shots...
  2. I was getting all excited about this, and then realized it was only for the PC versions. Ahhh poop!
  3. I danced in my armor before, and there's video to prove it!
  4. Holy scheisters, that is a sweet T-21! Very nicely done, and the detail is off the hook!
  5. Hope you have a great birthday today Seth!
  6. I am in total awe of your weathering job. You really did an outstanding job on it! I'm really thinking about trying Brak's weathering style on my armor now.
  7. Looks like you had a great time. How long were you out there in your armor?
  8. Not to be a stickler, but isn't a DLT-19 and MG-34 two entirely different guns? Aside from that, this guns is smoking! Great work on it.
  9. Yeah, there were three of us with FX and one with AP armor. No. I believe I heard there will only be 250 prints made for Celebration IV. So, if you want one you're going to have to attend C4, and hope that you can acquire one of these bad boys. I think this scene is as intimidating as the AT-ATs approaching Hoth base in ESB.
  10. Hey guys, about a month ago Dave Dorman asked a few members from the Midwest Garrison to come over and do some modeling for him. He needed a couple stormtroopers, sandtropers, scout troopers and Darth Vader. Dorman only lives about 20 minutes away from me, and since I spent New Year's Eve at his house he personally invited me to model for him. On StarWars.com he revealed his latest artwork titled "Lord Vader's Persuasion of the Outer Rim World to Join the Imperial Alliance." So, if you look at the poster he created for Celebration IV, you'll see me all over the place. The easiest one to spot is me in the foreground in the left of the picture pointing toward the enemy. I was totally honored to have been a part of this. Here's some photos that were taken during the photoshoot at his house. I'm the dirty trooper in the photos. http://www.td1043.com/photos/2007_03_04/
  11. After closer inspection from those two photos you shared with us, I'm not sure I like that smaller pistol on the end of it. If you removed that I think it would like a lot better, but that's just my opinion. It looks like you could unload a ton of firepower on the enemy.
  12. I have the oh-so lovely FX armor (some day it will be upgraded, I promise!) and my whole left leg looks odd. The thigh piece is flattened just like I've seen so many other FX armor wearers, and then the shin piece is totally twisted. You can clearly see what I'm talking about below... http://www.td1043.com/photos/2007_03_26 ... c_6062.jpg I don't think it's because I put the armor together incorrectly, but I think it simply has to do with the way the armor was sculpted/casted. I could be wrong, but that's my guess.
  13. You got dirty? You're awful clean for a sandie, but it still looks good. You need to lose those drop boxes though, and do you have a diamond knee plate yet? I know that gun isn't very accurate to the films, but it looks sweet as ****. I like it! Did you make that? Care to share additional photos of it?
  14. I've had some problems getting them on and off, but I wouldn't say they're too difficult putting on or taking off. I would say they're extremely comfortable to wear though. Some of the stitching has come out in places, particularly going up the back portion of it, but my wife reinforced the stitching and they're holding up quite well.
  15. That was pretty funny! Notice that Tatooine was spelled incorrectly on that poster? Ha! I knew that couldn't have been Seth, as he is too smart to have made a mistake like that.
