  1. Ha! Shame on me... Thanks. /salute
  2. Hello! I saw the thread for the 10inch patch on the legion board, posted there too, but it seems after all this time I dont have full access to these boards! Im trying to get 2 of the extra 10 patches that are going to be made Any help on granting me access to the rest of the forum would greatly appreciated! Thanks, Matt Shue TD-2982
  3. Again, thanks for the compliments! Here are a few shots of some weathering I did. I couldnt use the same method as I did for my armor or I would have ripped the paint off my pack lol. So this was what I ended up with. Little sliver paint also added some some edges to give that chip paint effect. To much weathering? not enough?
  4. Thanks guys, glad to hear it! The radio isn't weathered.... its just a bit dusty from my hands holding it haha. Glad you reminded me about the amount of weathering the packs get though.
  5. Awesome! Glad to hear it Should have the pack done up by the weekend. Hopefully my GML will review my submission pics soon. Until then, I have a two pics of my pack build in progress. Tell me what you guys think so far, and if you see anything that would keep me from Deployment. Is my stinger to long? Its 2 1/8inch. Thanks!
  6. Thanks!. And thanks for the suggestion Thank ya sir! I completely agree, those slings are on my list of things to acquire already. Appreciate the link!
  7. Thanks The forearm issue is on my list. I placed to much padding in them and thats literally as far up my arm as I can push them lol. And I agree about that bicep as well, but will revisit that later once I get more strapping. Good eye though The helmet brow is also on the list Although, with the way I assembled it, there's not much wiggle room, but there is some. I dont care much for the high brow personally, but since mine can shift a bit, it can shift to almost the point I look like some low brow caveman trooper of some sorts lol. On the thighs, I just checked from underneath and they are pretty equal in circumference, however the top of the right does seem to be a bit larger, never noticed it before. Maybe its how I assembled the AP... Unfortunately they are glued both front and back and no idea how to correct that with out cutting my seem apart. Thanks for the feedback!
  8. Ahoy Troopers! Just got my suit done and submitted my pics to my GML for approval. I may not post to much here, but I would like to thank all the great tutorials and help you have provided me so far. I'm working on the backpack now, big thanks to Crashman, its coming along. Well this is what I got so far. Lots of pictures I took today. Suggestions, comments, criticism, let me know
  9. Just the other day I found a members personal website, and on it was a short build guide on how to make your own sniper plate for the knee out of 4 layers of plastic. Does anybody know the website I am referring too? It was a mostly white themed site.... Cant believe I didn't bookmark it Thanks!
  10. Does anybody have these images? Links are dead now Thanks!
  11. Is a wood stock and grip considered more accurate or is the black mat finish more accurate? About to order a SF T-21 and Im not honestly sure I thought the wood grain was but, what do I know... Im just a crewman
  12. Hello all! New guy here. Going to start putting together a TK suit soon then convert to a TD and cant freaking wait! Already joined my local garrison to get some info there so for now, Ill just post a question I have regarding some requirements. Basically, It was suggested that I get my TK together first and join under that before pursuing TD because of all the extras and stuff that is needed in addition. When looking at the TD requirements it states; I figured OK, kind of stinks to add them to the suit and then remove them later but if thats what it takes then so be it! But then last night while doing some more research into this I found www.looksirdriods.com and there they have a HQ Photo gallery of reference pictures. Among them are at least two Sandtroopers seen with these said drop boxes in one of the pan shots from the EPIV Special Edition. Now since Iam new, Iam sorry if this has been brought up before in the past. And I was curious of special edition scenes are considered in the process when making requierments. Thanks for the help and to any insite into this! Future TD (Matt)
