  1. I want to thank everyone who donated to this great cause! I actually raised the most money out of my team! My total raised was $290 and my team raised a total of $4612!!! The race was great, I had a blast! I ran it in aprox 28 mins. Its really hard to tell because there were way too many people at the start line, and many walkers and strollers did not place themselves in the back as they were suppossed to, so the first 5-8 minutes were spent walking, slowly, and then zig-zagging past all the walkers. I didnt actually start running until I was about 1/8 of a mile from the start line! The surprising thing to me was how much fun I actually had! I was in the ARMY for 7 1/2 years and had to run every day. I always hated it and was never good at it. When I got out I didnt think I'd run, on purpose, ever again. So you can imagine my surprise when I actually felt good and had fun doing this! Now my wife, daughter and I want to start doing these runs on a regular basis! Again thanks to everyone who contributed, it is because of you that I commited to getting my butt out there on the pavement and helping a great cause! Here's some pics: My girls representing the 501st! Later
  2. ONE DAY LEFT!!! Tomorrow is the big day. I want to thanks everyone who has stepped up to support this great cause! But I have only reached HALF of my goal! EVERY bit helps, please go to https://www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorP...supId=231347650 and make a donation. $1, $5, whatever! Every bit helps! Imagine if everyone donated just $1 what a difference that would make! Again thanks to everyone who has shown support, I am honored to be running tomorrow! Later
  3. Just two weeks to go everyone! I want to thank everyone who has shown support so far. But I am still not half-way to my goal! Every bit helps, from $1 to $100, whatever you can give! Think about this, if everyone from every board I frequent donates $1, that goal would be reached and far surpassed in one day! Thanks again! Later
  4. Just 3 weeks to go! Every bit counts, $1, $100, whatever! Later

  6. Hey everyone, been away for a while. I started a channel on justintv called The Star Wars Room. Right now Im just tinkering with it, it's broadcasting mostly during the day now while Im unemployed. Im thinking of doing a weekly "show" or lifecast (think podcast with a camara), where I talk about Star Wars news from around the country. Also show off new additions to my collections. Viewers can try to "stump the stormie" where they throw Star Wars questions at me and I try to answer them as well as "collection challenge", think of a Star Wars collectible, and see if I have it! As soon as I come up with a good schedule and complete the format I'll announce the day and time. Also, whenever we do "armor parties", I'll set up the garage so you can see us creating and upgrading costumes. Check it out and send me your thoughts and suggestions: http://www.justin.tv/bert_the_stormtrooper Thanks Later
  7. Thanks guys! Here's some highlights: Video 1 Video 2 Keep in mind that those are only about 10 minutes of an hour long show. I hope to get the full show soon. Thanks for coming to those who did and I only hope you enjoyed the show as much as I did! Later
  8. I showed up late, by the time I got to the parade staging area, ALL group pics were done....OOPS Not to mention I was wearing CDR Bly. But it was great seeing everyone again and meeting new fellow officers too! Later
  9. Update: I WON!!!!! Dont know if anyone here got a chance to come and see the show, but thanks to anyone who did! It was a blast and I hope you enjoyed the show as much as I did! Anyone going to DC next year, try to make it out to this. It is a great and hilarious show and the guys that put it on are all great! I wont be competing again since I won this year, but Ill be there with the show to crown next year's winner! Later
  10. This is a Star Wars contest, "Who's Line is it Anyway" style! Last year I came in runner up and this year Im going for it again! I am preparing as I type this, got a new intro in the works (it'll be a BLAST from the past!), among other things. I would like to extend an invitation to all my MEPD brothers to take some time out Sat. night and come and support me and have a few laughs on me! The contest will be taking place Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. in our new, bigger room -- the International Ballroom! Wish me luck and I hope to see you all there!!! Later

  13. That's awesome info! It's funny that most of us down here in the Tampa Bay PD actually used burnt umber oil based paint and purified dirt to do ours! Keep the info coming! Especially about the backpack! Thanks for posting! Later
