  1. Thanks! Not too bad for a FX kit with AP helmet
  2. A little late, but I wanted to share some pictures from the Toys for Tots event held last year in Singapore. As the event is held at the American Club here in Singapore, the venue was very small and the host/organiser (American Association Singapore) asked for no more than 2 troopers. So, it befell to me and a jedi to bring some glamour to the event.
  3. Actually, I was able to attach my shoulder pouch without using a backpack. I simply attached a zip-tie on the back of the pouch, and I slide it onto the chest piece/canvas strip when I don the armor. It does moce about a bit, but nothing too serious. Of course, this only works if the front and back chest-pieces can separate...
  4. I totally agree! I may have started out as a normal TK, but after a short month of trooping I joined the "dirty side", and I haven't looked back since! I have looked at the Rogue One trailers, and the sandtroopers there look awesome! However, they seem to have gone with the approach that has been seen in some comics; they look like normal stormtroopers, with some extra gear. Will that mean that we should be part of the FISD? Perhaps, but that would still make us a specialised unit within the stormtrooper corps, and we would still be sandtroopers! On a side note, and while on the Rogue One topic, I absolutely love the details of the new TK helmets in the movie!!!
  5. No, I was just confused about the designations. All is in order.
  6. Quick question; I thought that I was already approved as a MEPD officer, but I am no longer listed. Would I have to re-submit all pictures again?
  7. Rolf, I'm so happy to see thing are going great for you! Good luck!
  8. A guy in Nordic Garrison has done this several times. I'll check with him how he did it.
  9. Go Manchester United! Oh, you guys are talking about American Football...
  10. Stay safe in Libya, mate! Not one of the best vacation spots at the moment
  11. If I remember correctly the last time someone wanted to do this run, we couldn't do any text with "Police" in it. Was it the shield-maker that said so? Anyone?
  12. It depends a bit on which "time era" you look at, in the SW universe. Right after Order 66, where the clone army is being redone into the Imperial Army, they are all clones. Not all are Kamino made clones though, because they take too long to make. The new type of clones are Spaarti clones, which are full-grown within a year. They are usually less capable than the Kamino versions. Later on, the stormtrooper corps accept human recruits as well, so you get a mix of clones and human. this creates other problems, as humans are not as well trained and are more exposed to act on feelings. Eventually, in the New Jedi Order era, the Empire Remnant accept aliens into the ranks of the 501st. Now they look more at capabilities of the recruits. All this is just from the top of my mind, remebering what I've read in the novels. the Republic Commando/Imperial Commando books "Order 66" and "501st" by Karen Traviss covers the first era that I mentioned. The short story of Davin Felth, in the book "Tales from Mos Eisley Cantina" covers humans into the ranks. Timothy Zahn wrote a book where Mara Jade came in contact with troopers from 501st, which squad icluded an alien. The same book also had a short story with the 501st, covering how that alien got recruited. I don't remember the name of that book...
  13. Rolf, til lykke med din fødelsesdag! Må du og Sylvester feire den med måde!
  14. Being a peaceful planet clearly doesn't mean not defending themselves.
  15. I must say I was shocked when I first read about this yesterday. In my mind, the worst thing is that this was done by a fellow Norwegian! There's not enough words available to describe how much I would like to gather a posse and string that fellow up.
