  1. Very nice! Definately much better looking with the new version.
  2. Great video! (Not just because I'm in it either!)
  3. Impressive...most impressive!
  4. Greetings! I was fortunate enough to get my hands on the last run of Stomper's awesome speakers n' tips. Anyone got pictures or diagrams of their setup? I really want to cram it all in the helmet, and pictures would help along with anything else. Share your knowledge!
  5. ROCK ON! That's just amazing and super funny. WELL DONE!
  6. I copy sir! I will try my best to get new pictures up (the next time I armor up) with my AP helmet on to replace my prior FX helmet picture in the deployed gallery. Not to mention...I have a T-21 (Hyperfirm) now instead of the previous home-made T-21 from the hardware store. Hoo-Rah!
  7. Very cool - especially a different one each time you change pages!
  8. Same here...I used to have access. John B. Mayes, TD-6829
  9. I'm quite confused! I can't get the link to work, I am guessing I am not listed properly. I am a deployed MEPD trooper, and member of the 501st Legion. Can my access be updated so that I may check out this poll and vote? For verification: I am TD / SL - 6829 Legion Information link: http://www.501st.com/members/displaymember...cfm?userID=4715
  10. Rest in piece brother.
  11. Awesome Mike! I would be very interested to see more stuff (on the MEPD site) devoted and easier to find for Sandtrooper resources. The forums are great, but as mentioned - the search functions are limited. Everything is proceeding as I have forseen...
  12. I agree - Seth, you have done an amazing job. It has been an honor indeed! I look forward to another great year with the MEPD!
  13. I had my Lewis woodgrained (Hyperfirm) and it looks awesome. I think it makes it more movie accurate. I have seen the MG-34's in both and I really like the wood look better.
  14. I'll just post my small two bits from my part of the galaxy. This is a hobby. This is not supposed to be a business matter, we who buy the stuff (the majority of who buy the stuff) buy the stuff to wear it. Not just to collect it and put on display. For those with the means to go out and spend thousands of dollars on display pieces - I applaude you! For others (like myself) - I enjoy the hobby of costuming. I enjoy putting on the armor, trooping to bring a smile to a childs face. Visiting a childrens hospital, giving a child that moment where they can forget about everything that isn't right...and just enjoying the moment. Do they care that my helmet only cost about $200.00 and not $1000? NO. Do they care that I'm not 100% screen accurate? NO. It's all about fun with the hobby folks, and how YOU want to be a part of it. As far as I understand - the MEPD is a COSTUMING GROUP. We are not necessarily a prop collection group, with our focus on getting our hands on the most elite, rarest, hard to find movie prop. I love looking at the accurate pieces, I really do! However, for me - putting on my FX Sandtrooper armor with an ANH helmet makes it all good to me!
