  1. Congrats Vince!! Not bad for a crappy old Rubies kit. You have done such a wonderful job on it. It does not look anything like it once did. Well done!!
  2. Seems that my GML thinks I've made the TD grade. Any chance I could get one of those grubby sandtrooper badges under my name? http://www.501st.com/members/displaymember.php?userID=7552&costumeID=2
  3. So, apart from the afro, does it look ok? Btw, my backpack is on the way. Will probably be another couple of weeks.
  4. Don't know where the "Paul" came from, The press buggered up somewhere...The young fellows name is Jacob. Check out his Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Troopertrek-2011/191534147550377 If you would like to donate, pop on over to here: http://www.everydayhero.com.au/troopertrek
  5. Evening, all. I've been TK'ing for some time now. I purchased a set of TE2 back in '08, and was going to TK it, but found a second hand set of TM to play shiny boy with. The TE2 has been sitting in its box ever since. I thought I'd drag it out and give the dirty side a try. This is the first time I've put it all on, so there are a few things that need tidying up. Please, let me know what you think
  6. Androids are awesome! Internerd access, GPS, lightsaber apps... Smart phones are great ... and I'm 46, and have an 8 track player in my car...
  7. Hey Joe, how you going? Still got that Tupperware jug lid we found in that 2nd hand shop in Phoenix? Thanks for looking after us when we were over there Dave.
  8. No snow here, it was 109F here yesterday. Southerly change this afternoon, has dropped from 104F (90% humidity)to 62F (98% humidity). Should be able to sleep tonight
  9. Brian, have a look here. http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=tupperware+stow-n&_sacat=0&_odkw=tupperware+stow&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313 The Tupperware Stow-n-go is what you are after.
  10. Hi Elliot, I'm not sure what NZ customs are like, but I'm assuming they are similar to Australia. I don't like your chances of getting that into the country. I know that if I ordered that, I would expect that there would only be about a 10% chance that I would actually get it.
  11. You have to love an old machine gun! I think we in Australia are still using those on our Leopard tanks. Once we have replaced the Leopards with M1A1's, they will be gone.
  12. I've never tried a wetsuit. I've only ever used the sports skins we get from K-Mart ( cheap version of Under Armour) , and I've trooped down to about -5 C ( mid 20ish F ) without being too cold, and up to mid 40's C ( 110ish F)
  13. I got the Email from IMA, and my keyboard was immediately covered in drool. If only I could guarantee getting one through customs, I'd be all over this.
  14. Sorry to hijack the thread... Noel, the FISD Expert Infantry Badge programme used to be called "Elite". We were "asked" by the powers that be to change the name because "Elite" is too elitist. I'm sure Paul can fill you in on the details. Dave J.
