  1. So, who out there actually believes that they delayed the release of Episode 3????
  2. I need to find a site or something that has the lenght, height, etc. of the Lewis gun. If I make one from scratch, I'll need to know how to cut the pieces to size. All TK-409 has is pics without dimensions. Any help would be great. Thanks, out.
  3. Usually one would go through their local garrison and get a TD number. If you want to go dirty, check out the MEPD website. Good luck!
  4. Pics are up in the my mg-34 album in the photo gallery. Enjoy!
  5. Sorry it took so long!(problems with the digital camera!) Pics of my binos are posted in the gallery. Pics of my mg-15 are in there as well. Go to the my mg-34 album and check it out. Hope it helps you with the weathering process. Out.
  6. Very nice! Looks like you are ready to go. What did you use for your disk on the tube? I can't find anything to use and I needs some ideas. Thanks!
  7. Let it dry or you will have a giant mess on your hands. Paint it and then just push it off with your finger. Then, just drybrush the whole thing with some silver, black, and brown and viola! a dirty set of binocs! I'll post some pics of my binocs if it will help you out at all.
  8. Great looking gun! That tutorial gives me a few more questions, but that is okay. Figuring all this out is half the fun anyway, right?? Thanks for all the advice. I think I will just have to pick and choose what I want to use from all of the different tutorials that I have at my disposal.
  9. Just started on the gun using the plans motman gave me. Used them as a rough outline and took a little creative license just to be different. Will keep you posted with pics when it is done. Thanks again, Motman!
  10. Just got done with making my binos and I took your advice. Works great! Thanks!
  11. Thanks for the info! It looks pretty complete, but I still need the specs on pipe sizes used, how you made the swirls on the ammo drums, etc. Any of those details that you can remember would be of great help in making this happen. Thanks again. Out.
  12. Thanks anyway guys, but the one on tk-409 is a bit lacking in details and the one on empireprops.com is only for the e-11 and the mg-34-not the mg-15. Too bad they don't have the right one at empireprops because that is exactly the type of tutorial that I am looking for!
  13. Anyone know where I can find some blueprints for an MG-15 made out of PVC? I some some where, but I can't remember where. I need measurements, sizes of pipe used, where to cut, etc. If anyone has any help, I'm listening! Thanks.
  14. I only bought the kit unassembled, so I'm afraid that I'm not too much help. I did finally finish the kit and it turned out okay. It's pretty solid and has a good weight to it. It may not be the greatest out there, but it is definitely the best value. I feel that the time you spend sanding wood and painting a do-it-youself, would be equal to the time and energy put into a vacuform. I posted pics in the photo gallery if you care to take a peek at them. See what you think. Of course, you could do one and it could turn out to be a dazzling work of art. The kit is only limited by your own modeling skills and imagination. Good luck!
  15. Yeah, you're right! MEPD is the way to go. Sorry, I lost sight of what this is all about.
