  2. Hey guys, me again with another helmet, this time I took a DA props/shed of glittering delight HDPE helmet and build it to be a "Move along" helmet which has seen quite a lot of action in the sandy dunes of Tatooine. So this is more like a fun side project, not completely on SWAT level. I have just emphasized the typical characteristic elements of this specific helmet, exaggerating the sleepy-eyes-look of this iconic helmet and enlarging the cracks where the original HDPE is showing. Because it looks quite worn-down, I have called it "The Thrasher", a tribute to my favourite Skateboard Mag. I´m even thinking about wearing it while skating once. It will definitely stand the thrashin´it would take, very sturdy helmets, those DA HDPE helmets. So here are some pics (many of them show the helmet next to my self-built RS helmet for reference): And finally dirty: I just love working on HDPE helmets, so much fun... And here´s a pic of me wearing it at the last event I participated in:

  3. I had also the idea that it's not a simple pouch, it could be a double pouch with one lid like the bandolier here.

  5. TD2190 is a Legion member approved by the UKG, but he has not requested 501st access or Sandtrooper access yet. Just to clear that up. He is perfectly eligible to apply for PO (granted he places his 501st forum access soon). All the DOs are asking for is updated photos of certain pieces of the armor. Once he does that and re-opens his application the approval process can proceed. Its all in his court right now!

  7. It is certainly an odd beast. It has the LONG strap like German pouches traditionally do, but it doesn't fasten (via stud) on the underside, like German pouches typically do. It doesn't look British, as they tend to have a flap that is wider than the body of the cartridge box, and rounded across the top and the front profile. It definitely looks like (and is the right size for) either a cartridge box or a small med kit, but try as I might I can't find anything no matter how long I search.
